What a great beginning to the Hogan Brother's Series. Nox is the eldest brother of the three, and when his mother introduces him to Sophia a young friend who stops by to discuss books he knows that his mother is up to no good. He just doesn't expect his body's reaction to Sophia, or the way that he just wants to protect her. When he gets a bad feeling about whenever Sophia is not around he goes to her to make his intentions known.Sophia has never known love, having to deal with verbal abuse is a daily occurrence from her own mother. She has grown up thinking that she is too dumb to make it out in the real world on her own. But the way that she feels when she is around Nox is something that just feels so right. So when she runs away from home and runs straight to Nox it's only natural for him to take her into his home and claim her. And they are perfect together!! The chemistry and dynamic between the two is just perfect and having a man that wants to make sure that you are taken care of and loved is sigh worthy. I can't wait to see what lies in store for the other brother's and character's that are introduced in this story. This is a must read!!

This story is amazing. I love how patient Nox is with Soph as she finds her strength. I love how protective he was of her. I loved their passion, their romance. It was a beautiful story from start to end. Not even Rebecca's vile behavior could take away from Nox's love for Sophia. I gotta say I loved loved Elianna's sass also. The characters are just full of life and love. A must read 💟💟
This book will leave you speechless! Mrs. K.L. Donn never fails in giving you an emotional read! If you are familiar with her books, you know she loves to make you feel connected to the main characters. Sophia & Lennox were no exception!! It had everything a book should have..There was drama, an issue that can affect someone's life when they finally make way in the real world. Loved how the character Sophia found someone like Lennox to break down her walls and uplift her to move forward in life! Great story all around and another 5 star read!
I am all about a tender hearted Alpha who isn't afraid to voice his feelings and that is exactly how Lennox "Nox" Hogan is. He is exactly what Sophia Bennett needs. Sophia is a young very sheltered and damaged women. Her mother verbal abuses her every chance she gets, she constantly tells her she is so Stupid, so much so Sophia starts to believe it. Nox falls for Sophia the first time he sees her, he wants to protect her, to save her, to make her his. I loved these characters and thought they were perfect for one another . I did feel like it was slow until about half way then I devoured it. I can't wait to get my hands on the other Hogan brothers
This is very much a coming of age romance as a young girl with low self esteem blossoms in the arms of an honorable and supportive guy..
I loved the two main characters both believable and intriguing...I love the fact that Sophia has become invisible to those around her but Lennox sees her and has enough confidence for both of them when it comes to giving their relationship ‘One Chance’..but families can be complex and both will have to face more than their fair share of angst in their bid for something more...
This is a well written and emotionally bittersweet romance about a woman who is lost and the man who finds her...I received a copy of this book from the author through the Quirky Blind Date with a Book group
This is the 1st book in a new series for K.L. Donn. Lennox better known as Nox is the oldest of three brothers this is his story. He meets Sophia thru his mom who is match making. Sophia's it for Nox from the first look. The story is about her family and if verbal abuse is a trigger for you do not read this book Sophia 's mom is verbally abusive to her. There is more drama and lots of Alpha male loving. If you like other Donn books you will like this one for sure. I am looking for the the next brothers story.

I like this kind of stories, where h has b****/p**** for a parent. What I don't, is that Sophia was a little too soft hearted. I don't mind soft hearts. But when that heart at the end still cares for worthless person.... Yeah, I'm a little frustrated. I'm kinda tooth for a tooth person. Lol And I just wished Sophia has more backbone from the start. I know, that sometimes words can do more damage then fist, but... It just pained me to see, how Sophia let the unworthy b**** words to break her and feel less about herself. Lucky for her Nox come into her life. His love let Sophia to find her true self. To find confidence. And Nox wouldn't let anyone to hurt her. He will do his best to make Sophia always smiling true smile.
In all it was a good start into new series. I'm looking forward for next book.
This was a story about a woman who had been mentally abused her entire life and the man who saw beneath her surface to to strong woman hidden beneath her shy exterior. I love stories about broken people who end up fixed. Nox fixes cars and he turns out to have a knack for fixing his woman. Personally I think there is a little paranormal in the story as well. He always knows more than he should be able to know. There are a few grammar issues that need fixing and my major complaint is that this book could be twice as long to fully explain the characters in this book. They could have used more explanation. But I loved what Donn did in the time she gave herself and am eagerly waiting for the next in the series.
