I think it's the lack of build up and anticipation, that made this not as great for me. John and Amy have had a platonic relationship for years now with hidden feelings between them. The plot pushed them together in a very matter-of-fact way; it wasn't exciting and it wasn't hot.
The sex scenes were fun, don't get me wrong. But part of the reason women like erotica is the hot story that leads to the hot sex. Therefore, this was just okay for me. If the whole business of "I need a baby, like yesterday" was eliminated, maybe it would have worked better for me. I do appreciate the author trying to twist this a little differently though, even if it wasn't a favorite for me.

nothing special ... bleh ... i just wasted my time reading this ...
wish I didn't have to pay so much to read such a short story, I want more than this provided
Short stories are not my favorite That being said, it wasn't as steamy or even erotic. It tried to have plot though.
Really? Really? Can people stop trying to be EL James. You are not. This ended weird and was just not a well written book either.

Not sure what I was expecting going into this book but it did not hold my attention at all. Gave up after 20 pages.
I really liked this story. I will say that it was a nice change to see a "billionaire" quite so vulnerable when he shared his feelings with Amy. I would have liked to have more detail in the story though. Would have been so much better. I gave it 4 stars because it still was a good story just more of a build up especially considering he was asking her to have a baby. This would have been excellent if it was longer and more detailed.
